As the seasons change rustic furniture is beginning to capture a lot of attention. Are you to give them a hands-on experience?
Often times I walk potential clients through our permanent showroom at the Dallas Market Center and our warehouse facilities introducing them to our furniture. I can’t tell you the number of people who have told me, “Photographs don’t do any justice to this rustic furniture!”
It’s at that point that I wish every single one of you could stop by and physically see and touch our furniture. Experiencing the furniture for yourself opens up a whole new world of possibilities.
You see, our teak furniture is unlike any other. Not only is it handmade, but it is constructed from recycled teak wood from days gone by. The eco-friendly furniture is made from old farm implements including antique wagon wheels, old hubs, plow handles, rugged fence posts, ox yokes, feeding troughs, well buckets, and sides of old barns, just to name a few. (I bet just by this short description, I have your attention.)
Now picture this. It’s a quarter to eleven and in walks a middle aged couple. They are searching for a rustic dining table for four. You walk them over to your rustic teak furniture and introduce them to your wagon wheel tables. You begin by telling them all about teak wood’s qualities such as:
Teak does not rot.
Teak is water resistant.
Teak is weather resistant.
Teak can be used indoors and outdoors.
Bugs do not like teak.
Then you go into further detail about the farm implements used to create these handcrafted tables, pointing to each as you go. While you are describing these antique artifacts your client runs their hands over the old hub and the iron rimmed wagon wheel table top.
At this point the potential buyer is picturing the Bluffdale Table as the central focus to their newly remodeled kitchen. The couple then asks if you offer more kitchen furniture from this line. You are then able to use AdenWorks CD catalog to show them a variety of pieces all constructed from the same beautiful wood.
You see in the end, buying furniture is a big deal to people. Furniture helps describe a person’s personality and creativity. Allowing people to come into your store and see and touch AdenWorks furniture will help you sell more rustic teak.
We want to help you redefine rustic living this holiday season. Let your clients experience these handcrafted works of art for themselves.
If you are ever in the area I would love to visit with you and walk you through our showroom and/or warehouse facilities. Feel free to email or call me so that I can be sure to be here when you arrive.
